Bachelor in Bauingenieurwesen

Der Bachelor-Studiengang in Bauingenieurwesen, der vom SUPSI angeboten wird, bildet zukünftige Fachkräfte aus, die bereit sind, den beruflichen Herausforderungen mit Intelligenz und Innovation entgegenzutreten.
Bauen ist ein umfassender und komplexer Prozess, welcher durch den Bauingenieur begleitet wird. Die praxisbezogene Ausbildung erlaubt den Absolventen/innen einen raschen Einstieg in die Arbeitswelt. 

It provides specific skills in the design, construction, coordination and management of complex and articulated works. ‘Reality in training’: this is how one can summarise the course of study in civil engineering that fully reflects the reality of the profession.

The SUPSI civil engineer designs and implements efficient, economically and environmentally sustainable works and constructions. He/she has specialist and methodological skills to deal with complex problems in the field of construction, civil engineering and the management of the various project phases.

The skills, acquired through the Bachelor's degree course, enable the SUPSI civil engineer to

• autonomously design ordinary building and civil engineering constructions, taking into account the state of the art and established methodologies;
• use materials in a functional and sustainable manner on the basis of their characteristics in consideration of the life cycle of the work;
• make appropriate and critical use of the available calculation, computer and geomatic methods and tools to design a construction,
• assess the economic, environmental and legal aspects of the design, construction and maintenance of a piece of work;
• manage the different phases of a project: from feasibility study, to implementation, maintenance and decommissioning;
• operate within a multidisciplinary team, contributing the engineer's own knowledge and skills;
• set up project documentation on appropriate media and present it effectively according to the context;
• adopt an attitude in accordance with professional conduct and ethics.
