MSc Osteopathy

AIMO Accademia Italiana di Medicina Osteopatica teaches the programme to professionals as a one-year programme.

It contains four units with 15 days of teaching. The course will be delivered part on-site and part online.

Unit 1: Research Methods and Evidence-Informed Practice RMEIP

• Receive the appropriate knowledge of research methods and study design and an understanding of evidence-informed practice.

Unit 2: Research Development in Osteopathy RDO

• Be exposed to the importance of understanding the roles, responsibilities, scope and limitations of other, relevant, therapies to enable professional interaction between osteopathic practice and other healthcare practices.

Unit 3: Developing Reflective and Specialist Practice DRSP

• Consider your clinical function and performance. Critically analyse your clinical practice and experience and reflect on your main areas of strength and possible areas for your development.

Unit 4: Independent Research Study IRS

• Produce a publish-ready research paper with appropriate, balanced and referenced discussion and conclusion.
